MAFS' Jules and Cam share first photo of newborn son Oliver
Married At First Sight stars and brand new parents Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant have shared the first full look at their newborn son, Oliver Chase Merchant, who they welcomed over the weekend.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, proud mum Jules posted a pic of herself cradling little Ollie in her arms while perched on her hospital bed.
“Hear me roar,” she captioned the heartwarming snap.
Jules was sporting a white t-shirt emblazoned with the words ‘Mama lioness’ and her son kept the animal theme going with his blue baby blanket which featured a bear print.
In front of the pair was positioned a retro wooden sign that read: “Welcome to the world baby cub, Oliver Chase Merchant”.
‘Love at first sight’
Cam and Jules initially introduced their first child together, a baby boy, in a touching Instagram post on Saturday morning, saying that it was love at first sight.
“#loveatfirstsight I would do it a thousand times again for you Oliver Chase Merchant,” she began the caption.
“Our little man has arrived #surprise #itsaboy healthy and beautiful and my heart is full.
“We are home now and enjoying the love bubble and getting to know our lil man Ollie who has the world ahead of him.”

Proud mama Jules also uploaded a beautiful black and white video taken while she was in labour in hospital with her husband Cam by her side.
In the clip, Cam can be seen gently swaying his wife back and forth — no doubt during a strong contraction — as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
It appears the pain was worth it, however, as the video ended with adorable footage of their tiny tot’s sweet little hand clutching Jules’ finger.
New dad Cam also took to his Instagram account to share a similar yet no less gorgeous shot of the newborn bub gripping his pinkie.
“Hold on tight little one. This thing called life is an amazing ride,” he wrote in the caption.
“So thankful to welcome a healthy & gorgeous little Oliver Chase Merchant into our lives. What an incredible experience & one that I will never forget.
“Mum was amazing throughout & doing well & I’m not sure I can describe the love I have & so thankful to hold your little hand throughout.”
The pair’s famous MAFS co-stars flooded the comments section with warm wishes and congratulations.
“Sooooooo cute!!! Congratulations father Cam. So happy for you all. Can’t wait to see baby Ollie!!!! Xxxxx” wrote Ines Basic.
Tracey Jewel added, “Beautiful news congrats!”
“HUGE Congrats to one of my Fav Couple! You both will make amazing role models! Can't wait to hold Oliver in my arms! So happy for the 3 of You!” gushed Dino Hira.
Jules and Cam announced they were expecting back in April, less than six months after saying ‘I do’ for real in a lavish TV wedding.
