Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik welcome a baby girl
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s have welcomed their baby girl into the world.
“Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful. To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together,” Zayn wrote on his Twitter page.
It comes a week after Gigi’s dad, Mohamed Hadid sent fans into a tizzy by taking to his Instagram account to gush over the little bundle of joy, with a letter titled ‘Grandpa's heart’.
“In the name of God the merciful I want to say l love you and so proud of you Gigi Hadid,” he wrote, alongside the poem.
The letter read: “Welcome my little grandchild, it's me, my heart as happy as can be. I wish for you the sun and moon. I wish for you a happy time.
“Know that Grandpa's always near, I'll do anything, anything for you my dear.
“When I heard you were on the way, I smiled and wiped a tear away. I cried the tear because I know, my heart would always belong to you.”
However, just over an hour after posting the poem online, a fan asked Mohamed if Gigi has given birth, with the 71-year-old replying: “No, not yet”.
Gigi’s sister, Bella Hadid, shared a snap from June 11th, showing the pair of them cradling their bellies.
“Two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and gigi’s is from @zayn ✨👼🏼✨ i love you both so freaking much -can’tstopcrying,” she wrote.

Back in April, Gigi Hadid officially confirmed she was expecting her first child with Zayn Malik in a heartfelt video.
The 25-year-old supermodel gave an interview to Jimmy Fallon, where she thanked everyone for their well wishes, but admitted she was disappointed about how the big news was made public.
"Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support," Gigi told the host from The Tonight Show.
“Especially during this time it's a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day,” she added.
Gigi's mother Yolanda Hadid has also shared the family’s excitement at the happy news.
“Still shocked our little secret got leaked to the press,” she reportedly told Dutch talk show RTL Boulevard.
“Of course we are so excited. I'm excited to become Oma in September especially after I lost my mom so recently.
“But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed.”
Gigi is believed to be expecting a baby girl, with fans online claiming the model’s recent birthday party doubled as a gender reveal.
