Nick Furphy has spoken out on his fledging relationship with fellow Married at First Sight alum Jessika Power, revealing the union is just days old.

The season four cast member made the admission to Yahoo Lifestyle, adding that both he and Jess are very much invested in making things work.

“We’re actually in a relationship,” he says, adding they’ll “see how it goes”.

“It’s only been a few days [but we’ve] been talking for a few weeks.”

The revelation comes one day after Jessika confessed details of the romance, telling Daily Mail the two are very much an item.

“Nick and I can confirm we have started to see each other,” she said.

“A lot of people are weighing in on this especially his best friend Telv [Williams], however we are not allowing people's opinions to hurt this and we are just seeing how it goes.”

However, one hurdle already faced by the couple is distance with Nick living in Melbourne while Jess is located on the Gold Coast.

While Nick confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle the couple officially met through a shared dentist, they have run in similar circles since finding fame separately on season four and six of MAFS.

The union comes just months after Jess’ high profile break up with co-star Dan Webb, a relationship which was originally fostered while both were ‘married’ to their onscreen spouses.

She also enjoyed a brief relationship with jailbird Sam Abdulrahim in the intervening weeks but that also ended last month.

Nick meanwhile was matched with Sharon Marsh during his appearance on the show, but the pair broke up months after the cameras stopped rolling in 2017.

Despite their very public splits, both appear to remain undeterred and have already publicised the fledgling romance on social media.

“Missing my boo @nick_furphy86 can't wait to be in Melbourne soon,” she wrote on an Instagram story.
