MAFS’ Nick Furphy and Sharon Marsh call it quits
The Married At First Sight couple everyone thought could make it work have split.
Sharon Marsh and Nick Furphy have called time on their nine-month relationship after meeting on this year’s show.
It was the blonde bombshell who ended things after moving from Perth to Melbourne to be with Nick because she didn’t feel "quite right".
Speaking to New Idea, the 32-year-old said: “I love Nick, but after moving to Melbourne eight weeks ago to be with him, I soon realised I’m not in love with him.”
Nick was apparently left devastated by Sharon’s confession after she told him she “wanted to feel more”.
It was thought these two would be the relationship that lasted - they even got matching tattoos on their feet to express their love to one another.
The pair were the only couple left together from this year’s show after Simon and Alene split back in May.
Speaking to The Fix the couple said: “It was a difficult decision but we have decided to part ways.”
“The long distance has been hard,” Alene admitted. Simon is based in Ipswich in QLD and she lives in Sydney.

Alene had planned to move to Ipswich but those plans obviously didn’t work out.
The pair also told the outlet: “We remain the greatest of friends and we will continue be part of each others’ lives. We thank you for your privacy at this time.”
