MAFS' Ines: 'I'd freeze my eggs if it came down to it'

It’s no secret that Married At First Sight star Ines Basic wants to be a mother one day after she openly discussed her desire to have kids on her wedding day to TV husband Bronson.

And despite her controversial time on the show – which came to a fiery end last night as her affair with Sam was exposed – it’s not a dream she is willing to give up on.

“Angelia – and her six kids – is goals,” Ines admits, referring to Angelina Jolie’s family in an interview with NW.

While the brunette bombshell continues her search for love outside the experiment, she is already looking at alternative ways to ensure children will be in her life in the future.

“I’d freeze my eggs if it came down to it,” the 28-year-old legal assistant said.

Alternatively, she said she may even follow the footsteps of Angelina and consider both biological and adopted children.

“I’ve always wanted to adopt children but I may want to give birth too.”

However since the drama that has unfolded on the show – and the backlash she has received – Ines has been keeping a low profile, sparking fears that she isn’t handling it too well.

Last week, a source told Woman’s Day that Ines had lost “about 12kg since filming finished” and people have been quite concerned about her health.

In response to the claims, a spokesperson for Endemol Shine Australia – the company responsible for the production of Married at First Sight – told the publication, “The health and safety of our participants is always our first priority.

“Psychological support is readily available.”

The public backlash against Ines has been fierce and Channel Nine has already stepped in to disable comments on all posts featuring Ines on the official MAFS Instagram page in response to viewer vitriol on social media.
