MAFS bride Ella Ding calls out show’s ‘horny’ edit: ‘So much more’

Married At First Sight fans immediately fell in love with Ella Ding after her wedding to Mitchell Eynaud earlier this week, with many social media users labelling her as this season’s ‘horny’ bride.

The 27-year-old was shown licking her lips and breathing heavily throughout the episode, which viewers understood to be her way of flirting.

However, Ella has now spoken out about her portrayal and admitted that she’s disappointed her romantic banter and steamy kisses became the focus of her wedding.

“It sucks because there was so much more to the night than licking lips and kissing,’’ she told Herald Sun.

“I was also licking my lips because they were very dry and I was incredibly nervous.

“The deep breaths were also because I was freezing cold. They were making it like I can’t hold back. Hopefully they’ll show a lot more of the journey, it’s so much more than sexual chemistry.”

During Ella and Mitch’s honeymoon, which aired on Thursday night, the pair definitely turned up the heat in their relationship with a steamy bubble bath.

“Hormones were through the roof. My face was getting very hot, it was actually the way it felt at the wedding when I saw him for the first time,” she told producers. “The horniness is off the radar.”

After being persistent about maintaining her three-date rule before having sex with a partner, the newlyweds consummated their marriage towards the end of the episode.

“Mitchell and I made our marriage official,” she revealed. “It was really good. Yeah, it was really good… It was exactly how we both imagined it to be.”

On social media, a number of viewers have deemed Ella as their “favourite” bride this season for her funny and candid personality.

"Okay but being a bit horny and holding the wall cos you're a lil tipsy on a first date is a whole mood," one person tweeted, followed by another who added it was "immaculate energy from Ella”.

“Ella is just horny and there's nothing wrong with that,” a third supportive viewer wrote, while a different user shared, “We stan Ella, our horny queen”.

Meanwhile, others said that they thought Ella could be the Martha Kalifatidis of this year's season due to their similar appearances.
