MAFS' Domenica Calarco confirms I'm A Celebrity rumour: 'Secret's out'
The Married At First Sight bride has revealed some very exciting news.
After weeks of speculation, it’s finally been announced that former Married At First Sight star Domenica Calarco will be heading to the jungle for this year’s season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
The 30-year-old shot to fame on last year’s season of MAFS, where she became embroiled in a fiery feud with fellow bride Olivia Frazer, and has since launched a podcast with her co-star Ella Ding.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday morning, Dom shared her official I’m A Celebrity promo shot ahead of the show’s premiere.
“THE SECRET’S OUT!!! Can we believe I’m going into the AFRICAN JUNGLE… TONIGHT!” she wrote.
“You guys already know I’m crazy, but this is crazyyyy!! I’m super nervous but even more excited to challenge myself and WIN THAT CROWN.”
Her followers quickly took to the comments to applaud her appearance, with Ella replying: “YEOWWWW COME HOME WITH THE CROWN!!”
“Hell yeah! Chookas!” former Queen of the Jungle Abbie Chatfield wrote, while Dom’s on-screen husband Jack Millar added, “So excited for you! Get it girllll”.

Dom also told 10 Play she was looking forward to “stepping way out of my comfort zone” and “challenging myself more than ever before”.
“Also, being the first season back in Africa, I just couldn't say no!” she said. “I dealt with a lot of snakes on MAFS, but something tells me Chris [Brown] and Julia [Morris] are going to throw way more my way!”
Dom added that she wants viewers to see a more “vulnerable and caring side” to her, and is hopeful she won’t come face to face with anyone she “ever had beef with”.
Who else is heading to the jungle?
Alongside the announcement that Dom would be heading to South Africa for the ninth season of the reality show, it was also announced that Ian 'Dicko' Dickson and Debra Lawrance will be among the cast this season.
Outspoken TV personality Dicko previously judged Australian Idol, competed on Dancing with the Stars and won Celebrity Apprentice, and currently mentors young artists and produces live festivals.
Meanwhile, AACTA and Logie Award-winning actor Debra Lawrance is well known for playing Sally Fletcher’s mother Pippa on Home and Away, as well as her roles in Please Like Me, Neighbours and Wentworth.
This comes after it was announced that Woody Whitelaw, one half of the KIIS radio duo Will & Woody, will also be heading to the jungle.
