MAFS' Davina Rankin leaves hospital after severe gastro: 'On my death bed'
Former Married At First Sight star Davina Rankin has been taking to Instagram this week to update her followers on her health after she suffered a severe bout of gastro after having breast explant surgery late last month.
On Wednesday, the 30-year-old gave an update, saying, "Morning guys, long time no talk. I've literally been on my death bed...can't even tell you how sick I've been."
She continued, "It has been the most f**ked up few days of my entire life. I don't even think labour pains are that excruciating. Like, it has been a ride."

Davina added she was feeling "so much better" and had managed to keep down all her food from the previous day.
"I still have pains in my tummy, but they're so mild," she said. "I feel like I can run a marathon today compared to how I've been feeling."
The reality star told her followers she'd been in and out of hospital over the last few days and said she was nervous to see her daughter Mila-Mae, two, in case the gastro was contagious but added she thinks she may have caught it from her daughter in the first place.
On Tuesday, she revealed she had lost 3kg over four days, explaining the pain, saying, "It was so horrendous, it was like I was having non-stop labour contractions for days and nothing could help... pain killers made it much worse because I had nothing left in my stomach."
She added that being sick makes her appreciate her health so much more, writing, "Never taking feeling amazing for granted ever again! I'm so scarred from the last few days that I'm even terrified to drink alcohol or eat anything that isn't fresh, organic, raw."
Davina shocked her followers when she first shared a photo of her in hospital showing her hooked up to an IV, writing, "Three days of the worst gastro I've ever had in my life."
"Out of action for a little while folks... on the plus side I guess this means I get to eat double come Christmas Day, right?" she joked.
Earlier this month, Davina shared how happy she was after having her explant surgery, writing, "I haven’t felt this way in as long as I can remember, I have an almost excited giddy feeling in my stomach."
