MAFS 2024: Surprising detail in snaps of first wedding for season 11
EXCLUSIVE: The first official couple for next year's season of MAFS has been revealed.
Filming for the new season of Married At First Sight is well and truly underway, with the first wedding taking place on Thursday.
Photos obtained by Yahoo Lifestyle show two season 11 participants tying the knot at Swifts, a $60 million heritage-listed gothic mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point.
The location is famously where Kyle Sandilands and Tegan Kynaston held their $1 million wedding in April, as well as where MAFS season 10 couple Melissa Sheppard and Josh White got hitched last year.

Snaps show the blonde bride, who has been identified as Melbourne-based Tori Adams, wearing a strappy white gown that shows off her impressive tattoo collection on her hands, arms and shoulders.
She has her hair styled in an updo and accessorised with sparkly drop earrings, a white veil and matching heels. At one point, she was also seen holding a large bouquet of red roses.
Meanwhile, her yet-to-be-identified groom wore a black tuxedo with a bow tie and sported a man-bun hairstyle with an undercut. He also appeared to have a stud earring and large tattoos on his hands and knuckles.
The new couple appeared to get along while standing together at the altar as they were photographed laughing with each other and sharing a kiss.
An on-site source tells Yahoo Lifestyle that the reality show has brought production forward this season and heightened security measures.
While few details are known about next year’s cast, Daily Mail recently reported that professional kickboxer Jayden Eynaud - who is the brother of season nine groom Mitch Eynaud - has been spotted filming the show.
New changes coming to season 11
The wedding snaps come shortly after an insider told Yahoo Lifestyle that the upcoming season of MAFS will feature a “better balance between the controversial participants there to stir drama and the ones genuinely looking for love”.

The source also shared that while the reality show’s storylines can often feel repetitive, producers will be “freshening” up the format for season 11.
“Producers want a more diverse cast that will cover a wider range of social issues, sexualities and genders than previous seasons,” they said.
“Last season there were a lot of complaints from fans that storylines felt recycled from other seasons, so this time they'll be freshening it up.”
