Madonna Shares Delicious Response to Election Results

Like many other celebrities, Madonna shared a blunt anti-Donald Trump message on social media this week in response to the election results.

The Queen of Pop took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Nov. 7 to share a pic of a beautifully decorated cake covered in orange, yellow, and brown buttercream frosting with maraschino cherries and the words “F–k Trump” written on top.

“Stuffed my face with this cake last night!” she wrote on the snap.

In another post, Madonna shared her frustrations with a selfie.

“Trying to get my head around why a convicted felon, rapist, bigot was chosen to lead our country because he’s good for the economy?” she wrote over the photo.

The Material Girl singer previously endorsed Kamala Harris in the days leading up to the election with a carousel of photos from her recent trip to Paris.

"Paris was so FUN! 🇫🇷 . It was hard to leave, but I had. to come home.toV.O.T.E. 🇺🇸🇺🇸  @kamalaharris For. President!!!! ♥️," she captioned the post.

Madonna also posted a photo on her Stories of herself with her daughter, Lourdes Leon, 28, after they cast their votes earlier in the week.

According to The Independent, Madonna has a long history of supporting Harris. She defended the Democratic nominee in 2020 when she was slammed for her facial expressions during a debate with Mike Pence, calling the criticism “another example of sexism and racism in America."

“Kamala is an intelligent, compassionate, well spoken leader who stands for justice and equal rights for all people," the Grammy winner said.
