Yahoo Lifestyle Madonna Makes Major Announcement That Fans Are Calling ‘the Best News’
Madonna’s fans have something new to get excited about in the wake of an announcement that the seven-time Grammy Award winner made on Thursday, Feb. 13.
The Queen of Pop shared a video on Instagram that showed her hard at work in a music studio. In her caption for the post, she revealed that she has been creating some new music.
“My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you!! 🩷🩵🩶🤍🩷🩵🩶,” she wrote. Though Madonna did not specify when exactly fans can expect to hear the new tunes, she did offer one more big reveal that left some fans gasping.
“Confessions Part 2,” the 66-year-old wrote, indicating that her new music will be a sequel of sorts to Confessions on a Dance Floor. The hit 2005 album won a Grammy Award in the Best Electronic/Dance Album category at the 49th annual awards show and launched her Confessions Tour in 2006.
Fans appeared to be thrilled by the news as they added elated remarks to the post’s comment section. “Confession part 2?? Amazing,” one fan wrote on Instagram as another declared that the “Vogue” singer had just given them the “Best Best gift.”
“Thank you for the Valentine’s present. Can’t wait to hear it ❤️💋,” one Instagram user wrote.

Madonna’s last studio album, Madame X, was released in 2019. The A League of Their Own actress was more recently touring as part of her international Celebration Tour, which wrapped up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last May.
