Madison LeCroy is speaking out about her Southern Charm costar Craig Conover's breakup from Summer House's Paige DeSorbo—and revealed what she told him during a private conversation.
“I don’t need to give him any advice. I just told him, ‘You’re going to be a great husband [and] you’re going to be a great dad one day. You have so much to look forward to, like, just be lucky you didn’t already have those things and then go through a breakup,’” she said during an Amazon Live (via Us Weekly). “I’m here to hype him up when he’s down — and I’ll do that for anyone really. But, they’re still good and I think everything’s going to be fine. I think you guys are taking it a lot harder than they are. I don’t know.”
Craig opened up about the split himself a few days ago, saying on Instagram Stories “This has all been very, very unexpected, to say the least" and “I was very shocked and it’s okay. It takes two people to be in a relationship. You can’t control other people—you can only control how you react to it.”
He added, “I’m still processing everything, which is normal... I mean, a three-year relationship, it’s your best friend who you talk to all day, every day, and then they’re just gone. So one day, I’ll be able to talk more on it—but right now, I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages.”
