Cash Warren Talked About Putting "Hard Work" into Marriage Before Jessica Alba Split
Cash Warren and Jessica Alba have separated after almost 17 years of marriage (!!!!). And while the couple haven't confirmed the news, Cash gave an interview about their relationship just a few months ago—talking about the "hard work" that goes into it.
“I think, ultimately, the friendship and support and just knowing that your partner has your back means everything to us,” he told US Weekly. “I think that would be the secret, is just having each other’s back. It’s hard work, but we roll up our sleeves and we do it. It’s wild. It’s the longest relationship I could have ever imagined.”
"For us, it’s getting out of the house and going and staying somewhere else for a night,” he added. “Unplugging is big. We love taking walks. We love chatting. We love eating good food together. We have so many of the same interests that we enjoy. What’s awesome is that we’re also still willing to participate."
It's unclear what went wrong between Cash and Jessica, but according to a People source, the exes are still "friends and all about the kids," and "No matter what's going on right now, it seems they will remain close. If they're filing for divorce, it's not because of some hateful drama. They still look happy together. Jess has mentioned over the years though that it's hard to keep the spark."
Unclear, but this could be a reference to Jessica previously telling the “BDA Baby” podcast that “It’s all rosy for 2 ½ years, but then after that, you become roommates. And it’s just, like, you’re roommates. You’re just going through the motion. It’s the responsibility. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes.”
