Mötley Crüe Forced to Postpone Multiple Concerts Over Band Member's 'Required Medical Procedure'

Mötley Crüe's Las Vegas residency will no longer be taking place later this month, the band has announced.

On Tuesday, March 4, the heavy metal group announced that multiple performances have been postponed as a result of vocalist Vince Neil requiring a medical procedure.

The slew of performances, scheduled for March 28 through April 19 at Dolby Live at Park MGM, will now kick off in September, with dates running through the first week of October.

Neil, 64, said in a statement shared to the band's Instagram account, "To all the Crüeheads who were looking forward to seeing us this spring, I'm truly sorry."

"My health is my top priority so I can bring you the awesome shows you deserve, and I can't wait to return to the stage," he continued, before adding, "Thank you for all the well wishes that keep reaching me. Your support means more than you know."

The other members of the band—which includes Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and John 5—also shared a statement to ask fans, "Please join us in wishing Vince a speedy recovery."

"We are looking forward for him to get well again and to take over Vegas together in September," they added. "We can't wait to see you all out there. Thank you for your understanding and support in the meantime."

The band's announcement also let fans know that tickets for the originally scheduled dates will "remain valid and be honored for the new September show dates."
