Luke Combs thrilled fans this week when he shared some rare photos of his two young sons, Tex and Beau.
The “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” singer shared the snapshots on Instagram on Wed., June 5 in anticipation of his new song, “The Man He Sees in Me.” The song was due for release mere hours after Combs’ touching tribute to the two boys who inspired it.
The country star’s eight-part Instagram carousel began with a photo of Tex, who turns 2 later this month, and Beau, who turns 1 in August, playing with a toy truck while spread out together on a blanket. Additional photos showed Combs on a walk with Tex, playing guitar while keeping a careful eye on Beau and cradling his youngest to his chest while reading outside.
The photos seemed to make fans even more excited for Combs’ new song, which many believe will be one of many tracks inspired by the Grammy Award-winning artist’s experience as a father.
In the comment section of Combs’ post, his wife Nicole gushed over the lived-in appearance of their home. “Our living room looks like a daycare & I wouldn’t have it any other way 🥹,” she wrote.
Fans also left comments praising the “When It Rains It Pours” singer’s demonstrated love for his young family.
“Poppa Combs era is my favorite 🥹♥️,” one fan wrote.
“Keep this content coming please 🥹,” one person requested as another concluded, “That’s it, this Dad album is about to be album of the year. Confirmed 🤘🏽.”
“Too cute!” one fan wrote of Combs’ sons while another agreed, writing, “Aww so cute boys being boys ❤️.”
Earlier on Wednesday, Combs shared insight into his new song with a sweet message he wrote for “my boys,” whom he said he “will always love.”
“With this song I want you to know that even though I’m not perfect, I try my hardest everyday to be the best version of myself for you both,” said Combs’ message, which he also shared with fans on Instagram. “I’ll make mistakes along the way and some days you’ll be sick of your old man I’m sure but dang we’ll have some fun too. I can’t wait to see what you both turn out to be like and I hope someday down the road I get to watch you and your kids do the same.”
