LoveShackFancy’s Salon-style Spring 2025 Runway Show Is About Less Is More
LoveShackFancy’s Rebecca Hessel Cohen hosted her spring 2025 show at the brand’s New York showroom, debuting a pared-back collection that leaned into her existing design codes with pieces that focused on silhouettes rather than ornamentation.
Presented in a salon-style format, models sang, danced and moved in flowing, feminine gowns that highlighted Hessel Cohen’s skill set in understanding the LoveShackFancy customer.

The Big Apple Was the Big Attraction at New York Fashion Week for Spring 2025
“We had this private tour of [Christian] Dior’s atelier in his apartment in Paris, so it’s from going to the markets there and just really finding these beautiful delicate fabrics and then having that experience,” Hessel Cohen said. “I just loved the intimacy of it, and I loved the beauty of the silhouettes and the styles speaking for themselves — not having so much going on. In a way it’s sort of pared back for us and letting just the pieces, styles and fabrics speak for themselves.”
The collection was all about the silhouettes, and largely refrained from the high level of ornamentation the brand has become known for. There was an array of minimally designed diaphanous dresses in pastel-colored chiffon that provided an unexpected yet fresh departure from the brand’s go-to embroidered styles, as well as romantic slipdresses in floral prints and embellished with lace.
While there was a pared-back focus in the collection, the brand still highlighted its strength in embroidery and beadwork in more intentional ways with styles like a floral decal- and sequin-embellished white dress and nude evening dress with crystal embellishments.
Overall the lineup offered a fresh take on LoveShackFancy’s design codes with silhouettes taking the spotlight rather than ornamentation, proving that sometimes less is more.
