LoveShackFancy Fall 2025: The Gilded Age
LoveShackFancy designer Rebecca Hessel Cohen transported guests to the Gilded Age with her fall 2025 collection presented at the Duke Mansion in the Upper East Side.
Inspired by Doris Duke herself, models took the staircase of the socialite’s historic mansion to dance around in the brand’s signature takes on elevated partywear that blended vintage and modern-day inspirations.

“She was this muse, and we reimagined her through the different eras of this fun aristocratic, but really cool, laid-back rebellious girl,” Hessel Cohen said. “So we’re taking her through the 1930s, the 1970s and early 2000s. We have the most beautiful fall palette that we’ve ever had. We’re calling it like a makeup palette with all of the bronzes, mauves and pinks — not a true pink, but all the different variations of the fall iterations of it.”
The collection brought new takes on the brand’s signature elevated partywear, blending feminine styles with luxurious details like Victorian and Edwardian lace, faux fur, floral appliqué and sequins.
The lineup showed a moodier side of LoveShackFancy that still fell in line with its tried and true design codes. Black lace party dresses, burgundy sequined gowns and brown silk dresses balanced out the more whimsical and bohemian-inspired styles and grounded the collection in the fall season.
Hessel Cohen continued to show the brand’s skills in beadwork with the collection, with standout styles like a floral appliqué dress that took 325 hours of sequin and beadwork. True to the season, Hessel Cohen also introduced styles in suede and corduroy, which were exciting complements to her signature dresses.
LoveShackFancy’s fall 2025 collection embodied the brand’s playful and whimsical spirit while showcasing its ability in pushing party clothes into an elevated level with intricate details and effortless silhouettes. The collection was grounded in the brand’s signature design codes, yet showed how it can continue to grow into new categories and evolve with its customer base.
