‘Love Me’ Trailer: Kristen Stewart & Steven Yeun Star In Love Story Spanning Billions Of Years

Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun star in Love Me, a film directed and written by Sam Zuchero and Andy Zuchero that debuted at Sundance earlier this year.

The trailer for the film shows how a buoy, played by Stewart, and a satellite, played by Yeun, meet long after humans have become extinct. With only the internet to guide them, they learn what being alive and in love means.

Love Me explores AI and identity through live-action, animatronics, and classic animation in this story of connection and transformation.

At Deadline’s Sundance Studio earlier this year, Stewart spoke about starring in the film.

“The movie’s about everyone, all of our projections, fears and insecurities,” she said. “The way we interact with ourselves and each other, the way we present. The negotiation between lies and manipulation and also disparity in wanting to be seen. I just looked at it [the script] and was like, ‘Oh so I could play everyone in the whole world in this movie, and then really I could only play myself.’… When I watched the movie it’s like everyone I’ve ever met is in it.”

Love Me was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize at Sundance, which is presented to an outstanding title focusing on science or technology as a theme, or depicting a scientist, engineer, or mathematician as a major character.

The film is set to hit U.S. theaters on January 31, 2025.
