Love It Or List It first aired on HGTV in 2008, and it was a fan favorite for 19 seasons. But the show came to an end when designer Hilary Farr announced that she was stepping away from the role.
Now, HGTV is reviving the series. Real estate agent David Visentin is returning to his long-time role, but HGTV star Page Turner is taking over as the designer. Fans of the network know Page from her Flip or Flop Nashville, Fix My Flip, and Rock the Block.
Loren Ruch, Head of Content at HGTV, explained the decision to bring on Page: “Her extensive background in real estate and design will be a superpower as she enters into this celebrated real estate rivalry. We cannot wait to watch her give David a run for his money.”
The show is slated to return this summer with eight hour-long episodes. It will follow the show's successful format with homeowners in need of help with properties that no longer work for them: Page will renovate the home and David will find a new house that better fits their lifestyle.
HGTV shared the news on Instagram and were flooded with messages from excited fans. They shared, "#LoveItOrListIt is back this summer with a new star! ⭐ Please welcome Page Turner (@pageturnerunlimited), known for her competitive spirit and amazing renovations, as she takes on the role of designer against iconic real estate agent David Visentin (@davidvisentin_official)🏡🤑"
While fans understandably miss Hillary, they're fired up to hear that the series will return, leaving messages like, "Love this show glad it is back 🔥❤️" and "Let’s go!!! Love @pageturnerunlimited! She is the absolute best choice for Love It or List It!!! Congrats Page & David! Excited for new episodes! 👏"
HGTV has not yet announced a premiere date, but it's slated for a 2025 debut. In the meantime, all 19 seasons of Love It or List It can be streamed on Max.
