"I'm in the middle of an IVF cycle right now. I had a very big appointment today," Lauren, who recently partnered with Kelley Blue Book for their "Life and Drive" mini podcast series, tells Parade.

"So, you know, keep us in your prayers and send us all the good energy and hopefully I'll have some good news for y'all down the line once everything is good."

She continues, "Mentally, IVF is hard. It's a very difficult journey. You have your mental ups and downs. Same with your body. You're on hormones, you gain weight, you do this, you do that. It's been a journey. But thank God I have an amazing support system."

Lauren goes on to tell Parade that her and Cameron's support system isn't limited to just family, friends and loved ones, noting that "since we opened up [about IVF], all of our supporters are online."

She adds, "Cousins, as we like to call them, have been reaching out with love and support. So we're feeling good. We're feeling hopeful."

As for what made Lauren and Cam—who met on Season 1 of the hit dating series in 2018 and got married after falling in love in the pods, sight unseen—publicly share their IVF story, the Detroit native tells Parade that they wanted to help people who may be going through the same thing.

"IVF is not so taboo," she explains. "There are so many women and men that go through this process to conceive, and we wanted people to feel seen."

In addition to opening up about their IVF journey, Lauren tells Parade that fans will get to hear her and Cam get into other "taboo" subjects like mental health, finances, travel and more on their mini podcast series, "Life and Drive."

"I'm excited to share that with everybody and hopefully help them become a better version of themselves through listening to this podcast while they're in their car on their drive," Lauren says before giving fans advice about one of the most important things in a marriage: finances.

"Especially if you're planning on getting married, it's important to know where you guys both stand so that there's no surprises. But even still today, me and Cam are very transparent about our finances," she tells Parade, jokingly adding, "I like to shop, Cam likes to save, so we have to meet in the middle."

She adds, "You know, we have our moments. But overall, we want to do what's best for our home, for our future [and] for our family. So, you know, we meet in the middle and we tend to agree."
