Lori Harvey Channels ’90s Power Dressing in Vintage Thierry Mugler Blazer at Beyoncé’s SirDavis Launch Party

Lori Harvey attended the launch of Beyoncé’s SirDavis whiskey on Monday at Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris.

For the evening, Harvey embraced vintage fashion, wearing a black Thierry Mugler wool blazer from the early 1990s. The blazer features three-quarter sleeves, white angular inserts and a distinctive black and white oversize button. Originally, Mugler designed and sold the blazer as part of a set with pencil skirts. Harvey opted to pair the blazer with black tights instead.

She finished the look off with strands of diamonds around her neck and ankle as well as white pointed-toe heels.

But the look included another key piece. In addition to the Mugler blazer, Harvey carried a Lady Dior bag in white Himalayan Niloticus crocodile. A miniature version of the bag, the accessory features silver and crystal hardware.

The SirDavis event also played host to the likes of Ziwe, Cindy Bruna, Alton Mason and Coco Rocha. SirDavis, launched by Beyoncé and Moët Hennessy earlier this year, is not the multihyphenate’s only project this week; she has also been teasing a collaboration with Levi’s, set to launch on Monday.

Harvey is expected to attend more shows. Last year, she launched her swimwear brand, Yevrah Swim, with Revolve, drawing inspiration from vintage styles.

“For my first collection, I wanted to release staple pieces in chic colors that can be worn anywhere, any season and will never go out of style,” she told WWD at the time. “I am all about inclusivity and I think that is reflected in this collection. There is truly something for everyone that will make them feel confident and sexy.”
