Logies 2023: Predicting this year's big winners
Here are the favourites to take Silver and Gold at the 2023 Logie Awards.
The Logies are heading back to Sydney for 2023 and Hamish Blake is out in front once again, gunning for another Gold Logie to follow his win from last year. Here's a look at who's most likely to claim the big awards at this year's ceremony on July 30.
Gold Logie: Most Popular Personality on Australian Television
The punters sure think Hamish is set for Gold, with the Lego Masters host the clear favourite again this year, at tight odds of $1.40. Trailing behind is Dancing with the Stars co-host Sonia Kruger, a distant underdog once again at $6, out from $5 last year.
Australian Story host and 7:30 veteran Leigh Sales may seem like good value at $10, but can she win against a comedian in a contest of personality? Could be a tall order.
Julia Morris (I'm a Celebrity, Taskmaster Australia) is up next at odds of $13, with Mark Coles Smith (Mystery Road) out a touch at $15. If the latter were to succeed from the outside, it would be the second time ever that a person of colour has been awarded the Gold Logie; and a resoundingly triumphant first for Indigenous Australia.

Rounding out the field we have Shaun Micallef (Mad as Hell) and Osher Gunsberg (The Bachelor, The Masked Singer) at $17 and $21 respectively. You'd be mad to rule out either on experience alone, but they'd each have to mount a mighty campaign between now and July 30 to be in with a chance.

Leigh Sales: $10.00

Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter
Those who miss out on the coveted Gold can still claim a win, with many also nominated for Most Popular Presenter. Hamish Blake is the clear favourite again here at $1.55, but in what appears to be a more open race, punters are happily backing Sonia Kruger, Julia Morris and Shaun Micallef, into $3.75, $6 and $7 respectively.
The Block's Scott Cam is the ugly duckling at $17, with last year's winner of the Graham Kennedy new talent award, the mighty Tony Armstrong, in with a chance again here and good value at $11.

Sonia Kruger: $3.75
