Little Words Project Partners With Oracle NetSuite to Scale Operations Amid Rapid Growth

Jewelry brand Little Words Project has reached a point of inflection on its growth trajectory and is turning to Oracle NetSuite to help scale its business at retail.

The brand, which is known for its original word bracelets and was founded in 2013, operates more than a dozen stores and also sells through Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters and Target. Oracle NetSuite said by using the company’s integrated business system, “Little Words Project has enhanced business visibility, optimized inventory, and efficiently scaled its operations to accommodate 10-times business growth.”

“To continue to scale its retail, e-commerce and wholesale businesses, support its ongoing product expansion, and reduce its reliance on manual processes, Little Words Project needed to replace its disconnected business systems as they limited business visibility, created inefficiencies, and slowed down decision-making,” Oracle NetSuite said. “After careful evaluation, Little Words Project selected NetSuite as its new enterprise resource planning system.”

Bill Carrig, president of Little Words Project, said the jewelry brand needed to move beyond the initial business systems “that had got us through the early stages of growth to improve efficiency as we continued to expand our operations.” Carrig said NetSuite was able to provide “a single source of truth across the entire business” along with real-time visibility into the company’s finances, inventory and operations.

“It has helped us gain insights to inform future growth decisions and rapidly expand the Little Words Project community,” Carrig added.

Sam Levy, senior vice president of growth and operations at Oracle NetSuite, said for retailers and brands to succeed in the long term, diversified sales channels and product offerings are needed. “With NetSuite, Little Words Project has a unified view of its business and can easily access the insights it needs to understand customer behaviors, improve inventory decisions, and explore new revenue streams,” Levy said. “As Little Words Project continues to evolve, NetSuite will continue to grow with its business.”
