'Little House on the Prairie' Star Makes Exciting Announcement
If you grew up watching Little House on the Prairie, odds are good you have a soft spot for the beloved show and its cast members. As a little girl, I can remember wanting to be best friend's with Melissa Gilbert's leading character, Laura Ingalls!
With a reboot of the show in the works, former cast members have become more active on social media. Case in point: Dean Butler, who played grown-up Laura's husband, Almanzo Wilder. And one of his most recent updates, which he shared Instagram, has people beyond excited.
For die-hard fans, there's a cast reunion you can attend coming up in June, and another fun aspect of the experience was just added to the mix.
In addition to meeting and taking photos with the cast, there's going to be a wine and cheese train? Where do we sign up?
Fans are pumped for this one-of-a-kind experience. One exclaimed, "Oh my goodness, SO fun!! 🚂 (So…will there be fruit punch for those of us who don’t drink 🍷? 😅)"
A viewer who's attending the reunion added, "Got my first class seat! Can’t wait!" And another chimed in with, "My friend @reneeknelson and I are soooo on board for this 🚂"
If you're curious about which cast members will be in attendance, Butler shared another recent announcement where he revealed three more fan-favorites just signed on, Rachel and Robyn Greenbush, the twins who played Carrie Ingalls, and Ketty Lester, who played the role of Hester-Sue Terhune.
(Side note, weren't the twins Lyndsey and Sydney Greenbush in the credits?! Hmm.)
Of course, Butler will also be there, along with Alison Arngrim (Nellie Olsen), Patrick Labyorteaux (Andy Garvey), and quite a few others.
