Kim Kardashian West was asked to address a rather uncomfortable moment from her family’s multi-million dollar reality TV show when she sat down for an interview with Lisa Wilkinson for The Sunday Project.

The Keeping up with the Kardashians star took the opportunity to spruik her new campaign with Uber Eats, as well as her new fragrance, but was also questioned on the decision to include a somewhat frosty argument she had with her husband Kanye West on their show.

The moment saw rapper Kanye criticise Kim’s now-infamous Met Gala outfit, and Lisa asked the mum-of-four why they decided to air it at all.

“You showed a very intimate moment on the show recently where Kanye criticised your Met Gala outfit, he thought it was too sexy, why did you decide to put that on the show?,” Lisa asked Kim.

Kim wore a skin-tight nude dress to the event in May, but in a later episode, Kanye was seen telling his wife that it “affects (him) when pictures are too sexy”. Fans of the show reacted to the comments by labelling the rapper as controlling on social media.

“[He] and I talked about that and it was something that was important for him to show on the show because that’s where he is in his life,” Kim replied, before she added that a part of the discussion wasn’t included.

“The one part that it didn’t show is the dress, because it was supposed to be wet looking coming out of the water, it had nipples on it and so he really wanted that taken off, and he had mentioned that a few times because if you wear a wet dress and you were actually coming out of the water you would probably see that, and so we compromised and we took that off the dress,” she said.

She added they decided to keep a part of the argument in the show before it’s supposed to be a reflection of “exactly who we are”.

“It’s totally natural that a husband and wife would be in, like, different places in life and have different ideas about things and have disagreements about things like that,” she added.

“It’s how you handle it and how you compromise and what comes about that really shapes our relationship.”

Kim also went on to empathise with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and their desire to minimise media attention around their son Archie, as well as speak about about raising her children, her famous family, her relationship with the White House, and following in her father Robert’s footsteps to become a lawyer.

Kim Kardashian stars in new Aussie-as Uber Eats campaign

The interview took place on the set of another of Kim’s newest projects, an appearance in an Uber Eats campaign alongside Sharon Strzelecki (aka Magda Szubanski from Kath & Kim).

In the clip, Sharon teaches Kim about regulation length nails and pronunciation, all while ordering Aussie faves including spag bol, a chicken kebab with extra hot sauce, and a schnitty and chips with chicken salt.

Reactions to the unlikely duo have been mixed online, but plenty are loving the ‘Noice’ ad.

Kim Kardashian not afraid of baring all

It’s no secret Kim isn’t afraid of flashing some flesh. The reality star turned heads earlier this year in a barely-there dress, which some likened to a backwards sports bra.

She was attending the Hollywood Beauty Awards but the cut-out gown was met with a largely negative response on the social media platform.
