Linda Kozlowski breaks her silence: 'Why Paul and I really divorced'

Linda Kozlowski opens up about her 'amicable' split from Paul Hogan in this week's New Idea magazine, on sale now!

Linda Kozlowski is positively radiant. For a woman newly divorced, she couldn't be happier with the way her life is right now - and it shows.

With an exciting new business adventure about to launch, the 56-year-old is looking to the future, not dwelling on the past.

Co-starring in Crocodile Dundee in 1986, she and Paul Hogan married four years later – the Aussie actor famously leaving his wife Noelene for her.

But Linda says that, after 23 years of living in the shadow of her famous husband, she’s thrilled to finally get her own turn in the spotlight.

"I lived in Paul’s shadow for many, many years and it’s nice to feel my own light right now," she tells New Idea.

"Actors obviously don’t want to be in the shadow, they want to be in the light, so I feel really good right now, really positive."

Not that Linda holds any resentment towards the Aussie icon - with the couple maintaining a solid friendship following their harmonious split.

"Honestly we just naturally grew apart. One of our problems was we really had nothing in common and, over time, that happens to a lot of people," she says.

"The divorce was completely amicable. We talk on the phone all the time, I go over and have coffee. We’re completely friendly. Everybody’s happy."
