Air fryers became big news during Covid. Convenient and easy, they can make cooking quick, fun and healthy.

But in between coffee machines, toasters and kettles, there isn't always space on your benchtop for an extra appliance.

He adds: "Air frying technology works by circulating hot air around your food to provide crispy results that are still juicy and tender on the inside. It uses significantly less oil and fat than traditional frying methods so it lets you enjoy guilt-free fried foods."

Not only that, but because many air fryers are small, using an oven means you can cook for a bigger family, rather than just two or three people.

The Haier Oven, $1499, is self-cleaning and comes with an air fryer option. It also has a Rotisserie accessory so you can cook juicy, crispy roasts. The Bosch Series 8 Black Oven with Air Frying, $2399, has a dedicated air-frying tray, making it extra easy to cook items such as chips and vegetables. Plus, its pyrolytic self-cleaning feature incinerates all residue to ash, leaving you with nothing to clean.

Westinghouse has two options; the Multi-Function Oven with AirFry Stainless Steel, $1199, and the Dual Fuel Freestanding Cooker with AirFry, $3599, which is 30cm wider. Both have fast-to-heat air fryers built into the technology, and the freestanding option also has eight other oven functions.
