Prince William reveals his very relatable favourite Christmas Day tradition
While the public knows some of how the royal family spend Christmas Day, much of it is kept secret.
The royal family gather together every Christmas at Sandringham, spending the morning at St Mary Magdalene Church, where they attend a service and then do a walkabout, greeting members of the public. And while there are a few traditions the public is privy to – they opt to exchange jokey presents rather than anything lavish, for instance – most of how they spend the day is kept quite secret.
However, Prince William has shared one of his favourite aspects of Christmas Day at a recent engagement, saying it's something he and his family do every year. While attending a Christmas party with the 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment, of which he is Colonel-in-Chief, William spoke with other partygoers, admitting that one of his favourite parts about Christmas Day is a long walk with the dogs.

"They must need a very long table," she joked.
Prince William may skip royal Christmas amid feud with Camilla's son
It comes after it was revealed that Prince William and Kate Middleton may be inclined to skip Christmas with King Charles and Queen Camilla after it was revealed that her son Tom Parker Bowles will be in attendance.
It would seem that William is not only feuding with his own brother, Prince Harry but his step-brother Tom as well.
The Daily Beast revealed that William and Kate Middleton, would be "especially" poised to skip Christmas if Camilla invited Tom, with a source telling the outlet, "It is best to avoid mentioning Tom around William."
They added that Wills is nervous about Tom's "rather louche lifestyle as a Mayfair bon vivant." And now that Tom has confirmed he will be attending Christmas with the royals this year, it may mean William will skip it.
"I genuinely know nothing about it," Tom told The Telegraph. "I know there’s turkey and sprouts and church. And I have to bring a suit and a dinner jacket."

He also shared that while the invitation has always been open, he took Camilla up on it this year because she asked him to.
"My mum said 'I’d love you to come, I haven’t had Christmas with you for a long time,'" he said. "It has been a hell of a two years for them. The older you get, the more conscious you become of mortality, especially with illnesses and the rest of it."
