Leighton Meester drove Aussie fans wild last year when it was revealed she was working in Queensland while filming the new Stan Original Good Cop/Bad Cop opposite Luke Cook and Clancy Brown. The former Gossip Girl star moved herself and her family, including her husband Adam Brody (!!) Down Under while she filmed and Yahoo Lifestyle can reveal Leighton made sure The OC star didn't watch from the sidelines, but actually appeared in the show as well.

Adam and Leighton, who have been married for almost 10 years, have shared the screen on multiple occasions, and it looks like viewers are in for a treat when Good Cop/Bad Cop hits screens next month. The pair recently posed together on the red carpet at the Golden Globes in LA, where Adam was nominated for his role in the hit Netflix series Nobody Wants This.

"She and I both liked the idea of her questioning him as a suspect and once we found the right part for him, it all fell into place. He had great ideas about his character's look and wardrobe and came up with so many killer ad-libs on set that we used and watching them work together and improvise was so much fun."

Speaking to E! on the Golden Globes red carpet, Adam said, "We don't have a dream project," before adding, "We always like to work together when it comes up."

"It comes up a lot," Leighton added.

"It’s true," he added. "Almost everything we do, they’re like, 'Would your husband or wife want to be in this as well?'"

"We should come up with something that we want to do together," The OC star said.

"I've got an idea, but it's top secret," Leighton teased.

Good Cop/Bad Cop follows Lou (Meester) and Henry (Luke Cook), siblings who couldn't be more different and yet are forced to work together in a small Pacific Northwest police force. The pair contend with several colourful residents, a very complicated dynamic with each other and their father, Big Hank (Brown), who is also their police chief.
