Full Emmy nominations list 2024: 'Baby Reindeer,' 'Slow Horses,' more nab noms

Get ready for the second Emmy Awards of 2024.

Nominations for the 76th Primetime Emmys were announced Wednesday by actors Sheryl Lee Ralph and Tony Hale in Hollywood for best comedy, drama, limited series and TV movie, among others.

The winners will be revealed Sept. 15 (ABC, 8 EDT/5 PDT), exactly eight months after the 75th Primetime Emmys were presented on Fox, which were postponed by last year's writers' and actors' strikes.

FX's "Shōgun," adapted from James Clavell's novel of the same name, earned top billing with 25 nominations. The network's restaurant dramedy "The Bear," which released its third season last month, cooked up 23 mentions, setting a record for the most nominations by a comedy series in one year. Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building" and HBO's "True Detective: Night Country" trailed closely behind with 21 nominations and 19, respectively.

In January, FX's "The Bear" and HBO's "Succession" tied for the most wins with six awards each. But the dysfunctional family drama ended in spring 2023, leaving the field open to succeed the Roys as best drama.

Eligible programs aired between June 1, 2023, and May 31 of this year in all categories.

ABC has not yet named a host for September (Anthony Anderson emceed January's show on Fox). The show will be broadcast live from Los Angeles' Peacock Theater and streams the next day on Hulu.
