Leighton Meester and Adam Brody Turned the 2024 SAG Awards Into an Adorable Date Night

Aside from stunning red carpet looks courtesy of Hollywood favorites like Margot Robbie and Ayo Edebiri, the 2024 SAG Awards also delivered cute couple moments that will have you ready for a very-2000s TV rewatch. On Saturday, Feb. 24, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody made a joint appearance at the SAG Awards, leaving the kids at home for a mom and dad date night among celebs.

For the glamorous occasion, The O.C. alum looked dapper in a navy suit with a wide lapel with his signature, tousled hairdo on site. Meanwhile, the Gossip Girl actress kept it elegant in a custom St. John column dress and I-woke-up-like-this-style bangs and the Iconica earrings, ring, and bracelet by Pomellato, not to mention a Hunting Season clutch. They posed side-by-side in front of the flashing cameras and lovingly reminded the world why they’re one of the most adorable Hollywood couples around.

Meester and Brody reportedly got married in 2014 and made their first public appearance as newlyweds at the 2014 Tony Awards. Today, the actors—often cheekily nicknamed Blair Waldorf and Seth Cohen for their respective breakout roles—share two children, a daughter named Arlo, born in 2015, and a son born in 2020.

In 2023, Meester and Brody put their acting chops together and starred in a Netflix thriller River Wild, opposite each other. Speaking with Interview magazine about the experience, Meester shared it was “less” challenging to work with her husband than she thought it would be. “You are the person I want to work with all the time. You’re my best friend, and the best acting partner that I could ever hope for. It was very familiar, so I felt very safe and comfortable to be doing all those pretty intense scenes,” she told Brody.
