The epic lego build that took out the Lego Masters finale
Jackson and Alex have been crowned the winners of Lego Masters season two after an epic 28-hour grand finale build.
The Perth friends, who had taken out a couple of build wins throughout the season, put together an incredibly detailed Mad Scientist’s Frankenfig creation that won over Brickman and the audience to take out the title and the $100,000 prize that came with it.
“That's a testament to how good you are as Lego builders. Great stuff,” Brickman said of their final creation during Monday night’s episode.
Alex said the win felt “pretty surreal”.
“The people we were building against were just really brilliant builders and we were intimidated by them the whole time,” he admitted to Nine. “To have come out on top, it's really hard to comprehend, to be honest.”

Season two of Lego Masters was chock full of surprises and whacky builds. Hamish Blake had said before the premiere episode things would be taken to a “whole new level”, and it didn’t disappoint.
“We tried to keep all the bits we loved, and that made the show the show,” he told Yahoo Lifestyle last month.
“But I suppose the benefit of any Season Two over any Season One is that now we know what the show is and isn’t, so we knew the places it would be fun to push things; or take things to another level.”

“We tried to be as creative and wacky as we possibly could,” Alex said.
