New year, new season of Summer House...and that means new housemates too. In season 9, fans can expect to meet Canadian model Lexi Wood, as well as Imrul Hassan, a “motorcycle-riding real estate broker and full-time party boy” originally from Bangladesh, according to his cast bio. And while it seems like Lexi will serve as a new love interest for Jesse Solomon (and a rival for Ciara Miller), it’s not yet clear how Imrul will fit into the dynamic.
However! Based on the season 9 teaser trailer, it won’t take long for him to make an impression. In the first-look preview, you can see Imrul talk about a sex swing, cover up his bedroom camera before telling a mystery woman to “take this dress off,” and even reveal to Jesse that he had sex with “just two” people the night before. Okay!

Imrul is a real estate broker.
Like we said, Imrul works in Manhattan real estate, and—according to his professional bio—has “a track record of three years dedicated to assisting buyers, sellers, renters, and landlords.”
And while he doesn’t have much of a social media following yet, fans are apparently still recognizing him...

He was born in Bangladesh.
According to his bio, Imrul is originally from Bangladesh but now lives and works in NYC.
And in addition to motorcycles, his other interests include basketball, surfing, and globe-trotting.
Rumors about him joining the cast first started circulating in July.
Over the summer, leaked photos from a Summer House season 9 event made their way online, causing fans to spiral over the mystery hottie in the background. Finally, in December, Imrul was named as an official part of the season 9 cast.
Per the show announcement, Imrul’s new castmates will either “embrace his wild spirit and love for scandalous parties or be annoyed by the constant parade of women sleeping over.” Only time will tell!
