Elle was originally announced in May 2024 at the end of Amazon’’ inaugural Upfront presentation to advertisers, with Witherspoon adorning her signature pink outfit and accompanied by none other than her dog, Bruiser (or at least a facsimile).
“Fans will get to know how Elle Woods navigated her world as a teenager with her distinct personality and ingenuity, in ways that only our beloved Elle could do,” she said at the time.
Witherspoon will serve as an executive producer alongside creator/showrunner Laura Kittrell (High School, Insecure), Lauren Neustadter, Lauren Kisilevsky and Marc Platt.
