Latin Superstar Omar Rudberg ‘Finally Feels Free’ After Dropping Debut EP
After an intense breakup, 26-year-old Omar Rudberg is finally ready to “move on and be free,” and his debut EP is a testament to that.
Last month, the Venezuela-born, Sweden-raised musician and actor released his debut EP “Every Night Fantasy,” an emotional body of work that showcases the heartthrob’s mix of emotions while navigating his breakup.

The eight-track project starts with his energetic song “Talk,” which explores the tension and chemistry between two people, stating, “My focus is set on your body, so…baby, let’s get lost.”
Halfway through the EP, Rudberg slows things down with “Red Light,” a reflective track that conveys the intense longing and emotional roller coaster of a fleeting connection.
Toward the end of the project, Rudberg shifts back to an upbeat vibe with his song “Lose Me,” which confronts the aftermath of a relationship. In a mix of defiance and self-discovery, Rudberg reflects on moving on from someone who failed to appreciate him, singing, “You were losing me. Unintentionally, you were setting me free.”
“This EP was all about saying goodbye, feeling free and just being excited about life. It reflects all those mix of emotions while also having a sense of happiness and freedom,” the “Young Royals” actor told WWD in an interview. “I’m so happy right now and can’t wait to explore myself even more, take risks and just go wild in life.”
Riding the high of his newfound freedom and debut EP, the bubbly superstar is channeling that energy into a tour.
Throughout February, Rudberg will embark on a European tour, with stops including Paris, Amsterdam, Munich, Milan and Barcelona. While every show will “hold a special place” in his heart, he noted that he’s especially excited about his performance in Madrid.
“Madrid is going to be very special to me not only because of the fans and the fact that it’s my first time performing in Spain, but also because it’s the first time my entire family will see me perform live,” Rudberg said. “We’ve never really had this kind of reunion where literally everyone in the country comes together. I feel like it’s going to be the first time in so many years, so that’s going to be so special for me.”
Although Rudberg has only announced European dates, he mentioned that he’s open to the possibility of extending the tour worldwide.
“My goal is to keep touring, and I’m always working on that because I want to go back to the U.S. and also tour Latin America,” Rudberg said. “It’s going to happen, it just takes time. I don’t know when yet, but all I know is that I want to, and I’m going to work my ass off to [make it happen].”
Building a Beauty Empire
As if acting and singing weren’t already full-time jobs, Rudberg also runs his own beauty brand named Omr Beauty.
Currently, the brand offers an array of gender-neutral perfumes like Intro, which retails for $62, and Duo, which retails for $79. Omr Beauty also recently released Occasions, a new limited-edition collection featuring scents that are made to be part of “your moments, big and small, with loved ones by your side.”
While creating gender-neutral products was at the forefront of the brand’s mission, Rudberg said that creating 100 percent vegan products was “a nonnegotiable.”
“I’m always going to think about animals and the climate. I would never do anything that isn’t vegan because we don’t need to, and everything we do, we can always consider these things,” Rudberg said. “When I first thought about [starting a brand], I wondered, ‘Is it even worth it? Is it possible?’ After doing my [own research], I decided I could do it as long as it was done my way, which is keeping [sustainability], the planet and animals top of mind.”
