Lance Bass Fans Say His 3-Year-Old Son ‘Needs to Be in a Boy Band Immediately’ After Latest Video
NSYNC fans said they feel ready for the boy band’s “next generation” after seeing the latest video that Lance Bass shared on social media.
Bass, who rose to fame in the early 2000s as a member of NSYNC, now shares 3-year-old twins Alex and Violet with his husband, Michael Turchin. As the 45-year-old proud dad revealed in an Instagram post on Friday, Jan. 17, he has already begun teaching his son NSYNC’s most famous dance.
To mark the 25th anniversary of the pop hit “Bye Bye Bye”—a milestone that fans expressed difficulty believing in the post’s comment section—Bass shared a video showing Alex sitting on his lap while looking at a screen that was just out of view of the camera. The introduction to the song played in the background, with the music video likely on display in front of the father-son duo.
“Bye bye bye,” Alex said in a small voice as his dad urged him on.
“Can you do your hand?” Bass asked.
In response, Alex lifted his hand and performed the waving motion that NSYNC fans familiar with the video would easily recognize. “Bye bye bye,” Alex said again.
“I mean, come on,” Bass said with a smile at the shared moment.
“I needed this. ❤️❤️,” one fan wrote as another praised the “so precious” video and a third wrote, “Omg!!! 🥹 that little voice i can’t 🩵.”
“Hands down the best thing on the internet today!!❤️,” one Instagram user said of the video.
Another Instagram user shared that they “Needed this cuteness overload today. 🥰.”
For some NSYNC fans, it was seeing the 3-year-old perform the hand motion that stole their hearts.
“He’s already got the most important move down pat 🥰🥰,” one person declared.
“He needs to be in a boy band immediately,” a fan said of Alex as another wondered, “So is Alexander a backup dancer now? 😂 cutest backup dancer ever!”
“The next generation.. love it! 💛,” an Instagram user commented.
