Lana Del Rey gets marriage license in Louisiana
“Born to Die” singer Lana Del Rey appears ready to marry her boat captain boyfriend Jeremy Dufrene.
The pair picked up a marriage license Monday in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, according to TMZ. The outlet said the license hasn’t been returned and documented, so there’s so far no record of a wedding on file. The license is good for 30 days.
Del Rey and Dufrene were first believed to have been photographed together when the singer joined the outdoorsman for a Bayou boat tour among Louisiana’s alligators.
The pair made their relationship public on Sept. 7 when they joined Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at model Karen Elson’s wedding at Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village, according to People.
Del Rey told Harper’s Bazaar she wasn’t in love in a magazine that came out at the start of the year.
“I’m definitely not in love right now,” she said. “No.”
But, the New York City native, born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, conceded, “it’s coming for me at some point.”
Del Rey’s past beaus have included other musicians, a filmmaker and a former Oklahoma police officer. She was also rumored to have been close to Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose, with whom she spent time in 2012.
The Larouche Parrish County Clerk’s office hasn’t responded to a request to confirm Del Rey’s marriage license.
