Lady Gaga Showed Off Her Massive Engagement Ring While Endorsing Kamala Harris
It's a literal rock.
Lady Gaga may have flashed her engagement ring back in September while attending the Venice Film Festival with her fiancé, Michael Polansky, but Little Monsters are now getting an even closer look at the ring and are realizing just how big the rock actually is, thanks to her latest post on Instagram.
Gaga announced that she has entered political mode, telling her 57.5 million followers via a video post that "It's time to get ready to vote. I'll see you guys in Pennsylvania." In the quick clip—during which she endorsed Kamala Harris and JD Vance for president and vice president—a brief glance at the underside and setting of the ring is visible when she shoots the camera a peace sign.
The pop star recently shed light on how Polansky asked her to marry him during her October 1 Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance, and revealed that they often consider lowkey nuptials. “We actually talk about going to the courthouse just the two of us and ordering Chinese food,” Gaga said. But should her pop star persona have its way, she's leaving room for something bigger —"Knowing me, also, it could become like a circus with unicorns,” she added.
As for how Polansky popped the question, Gaga said, “he proposed to me right after my birthday, so my birthday passed and I was like, ‘Well, I thought he was going to propose but then maybe…’”
Polansky instead used a more mundane moment to ask. "We were just walking back to the room and talking and he said…it was very Michael, to ask me if he could ask me," Gaga dished. "He wanted to know if it was ok to propose before he proposed and I was like, ‘Yes! It’s so OK!’”
