It appears all Lady Gaga needs is time, and all I need is for her to drop this new song. Ever since the icon announced she'll be releasing a new single and accompanying music video on Grammy's night, followed by her eighth studio album, Mayhem, on March 7, her Little Monsters can't stop buzzing. And, last night, she threw them another bone in the form of an unreleased song.

The "Poker Face" singer served as the closing act of the Los Angeles FireAid benefit concert, put on in support of rebuilding efforts amid the ongoing California wildfires, at the Intuit Dome on Thursday. After belting "Shallow" and "Always Remember Us This Way" from her 2018 romance-musical A Star Is Born—the latter of which fittingly discusses themes of loss—Gaga debuted a brand-new tune, which she revealed she co-wrote with her fiancé, Michael Polansky.

“Me and my friend Michael—my fiancé, my love—we wrote this song for you,” the multi-hyphenate started to introduce the song, while sitting at a piano. “It’s just for tonight. It’s just for you. I think we all need a lot of things right now, but I think something we may also need is time. Time is a healer.”

What followed was a perky, emotional ballad.

“Wish that God would find a different way to remind me what it’s like to pray / Wish that I could turn this storm around and I cannot find a different way,” she sang. “All I need is time, all I need is time / All I need is time to heal my broken wings and then I’ll soar / All I need is time to leave it all behind / All I need is time to leave it all behind and keep moving forward.”

The Joker 2 star looked stunning in an all-black ensemble, composed of a sheer, long-sleeve dress, matching knee-high socks, a wide-brim hate, and lace-up Mary Jane shoes. For beauty, Gaga glammed up with a smoky winged, rust-orange eyeshadow, bronzy cheeks, a matte mauve-pink lip, and bleached eyebrows. She styled her jet-black hair down and straight, with new blunt baby bangs.

“Thank you, I love you,” Lady Gaga said while looking out at the audience. “This has been a horrible, scary time, but during these times, I feel like people come together and we see how much we need each other. And I want to always remember us just like this.”

The "LoveGame" singer was one of many musicians who took the stage. The lineup also included: Billie Eilish; Earth, Wind, & Fire; Gracie Abrams; Jelly Roll; Katy Perry; Lil Baby; Olivia Rodrigo; Peso Pluma; Rod Stewart; Stevie Wonder; Sting; and Tate McRae.

FireAid hosted a second concert simultaneously at the Kia Forum, which featured performances by Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Dave Matthews & John Mayer, Dawes, Graham Nash, Green Day, John Fogerty, Joni Mitchell, No Doubt, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, and The Black Crowes.

Gaga commemorated the evening with an Instagram carousel which sees her posing in various black-and-white photos.

"It was such an honor to sing @FireAidLA for you during this incredibly challenging time. Thank you for having me, and thank you to everyone who donated. I love you CALIFORNIA, we’ll keep moving forward 🙏🖤," she captioned the snaps.

While it's unknown whether Polansky, a successful tech entrepreneur, was at the show in person, he was certainly top of mind. The two started dating in 2019 after meeting at a party, and although they've kept their relationship largely under wraps, they did confirm their engagement at the 2025 Paris Olympics.
