Surprise! Kylie Jenner attended Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring 2025 couture show by Ludovic de Saint Sernin in Paris—but, before sitting on the front row, she walked down the runway.
The cosmetics mogul shared behind-the-scenes photos and videos from her brush with the catwalk on Instagram yesterday, including several polaroids of her final look: a bronze halterneck gown cinched in at the torso by a sculptural and padded corset, with the floor-sweeping skirt cascading down in tiers of shimmery curved sequins. On the runway, Jenner carried a small glass fishbowl handbag.

De Saint Sernin, who served as this season’s guest courturier for Jean Paul Gaultier, took inspiration from shipwrecks and maritime disasters for his collection.
“The idea was to create a story that would inspire people and make them dream about couture,” the designer said during a preview in his atelier, per WWD. “There’s elegance, there’s luxury, there’s lust—all of the emotions that you can think about on a shipwreck.”
That inspiration was evident with the looks that streamed down the runway on Wednesday evening. Models wore lace-up corsets, gauzy skirts underneath nautical wheel-shaped bustiers, and twisted fabric made to resemble knotted rope.
“It’s such an incredible luxury to be able to do couture, and the atelier is so generous, so gentle, so knowledgeable, and the relationship that we built is so precious,” de Saint Sernin said. “I’m going to miss them a lot.”
