Kylie Jenner Reveals She Went Blonde for a Shocking ‘24 Hrs’ in Fun 2024 Recap: ‘Can’t Wait for 2025’
The Kylie Cosmetics founder has experimented with a range of cuts and colors this year
It was a big year in hair for Kylie Jenner.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder posted a recap of her year on Dec. 30 on Instagram, looking back at some of her most stylish moments from 2024. On the second to last slide of the post, Jenner revealed her brief stint with blonde hair, a stark contrast from her usual deep brown shade.
In the past, Jenner has worn wigs for her hair changes, but the photo in her post showed her hair in the midst of the coloring process. While she didn't specify when in the year she decided to revive her blonde locks, she revealed the bold change only lasted for a day.
"what a YEAR ! (went blonde for 24 hrs 🙂) i cant wait for 2025 🥳🥳🥳," she captioned the post.
Jenner's hair has seen a range of changes over the years, but especially in 2024. In January, she traded her dark locks for a bubblegum pink "Barbiecore" hue. The bold change was reminiscent of her "King Kylie" era, marked by vibrant hair and a grunge aesthetic.
The pink was short-lived, however, as Jenner stepped out at Jacquemus' Les Sculptures fashion show later that month with her natural brown hair.
Another big change for Jenner came in September, when she debuted a vibrant teal look. The ocean-colored locks appeared to be a revival of her icy-blue 'do from 2018 — the pinnacle of her King Kylie persona.

After being spotted with her colorful hair peeking out from under a baseball cap while out at Sushi Park in Los Angeles, she announced the change on Instagram. She shared three up-close selfies and a video of the new look, captioning the post, "teal the end of time."

While most of her hair experimentation was with color this year, she also explored a different temporary cut. At the 2024 CFDA Awards, she pulled her hair — which was black at the time — back into a sleek updo and added a blunt ponytail hairpiece.
