Kyle Sandilands surprised listeners on Wednesday by announcing he and girlfriend Tegan Kynaston are trying for a baby.
The 50-year-old shared the news during a segment with psychic Georgina Walker on The Kyle and Jackie O show.
The presenter admitted sex was different when a couple is attempting to get pregnant, saying it lacks passion and romance because it's scheduled.
He didn't specify that he was referring to himself and Tegan, but Georgina pushed further and he admitted they are trying to conceive.
Jackie 'O' Henderson had previously encouraged him to keep the news a secret, just in case things didn't work out.
The host and her ex-husband Lee Henderson were unable to conceive naturally and welcomed their daughter Kitty, 10, via IVF.
Kyle has previously shared his thoughts on children, telling Daily Mail Australia: "When you find the right person, things just feel right and it feels very natural to just go down that road."
He added that he had always envisioned having kids at some stage in his life.
"It's just never felt right [before]. I've never pined, never thought, 'I wish I had a little son to watch at the recital.'
"It's only been as I get older that I think, 'Maybe that is something that I want to start looking at.'"
Kyle and Tegan have been dating since late 2019, before that he was with model Imogen Anthony for eight years and was married to singer Tamara Jaber from 2008 to 2010.
It comes after Kyle released a highly entertaining video to persuade people to get vaccinated.
'Get Vaxxed Baby' is a remix of Vanilla Ice's 'Ice Ice Baby' with lyrics such as, "Alright stop, vaccinate and listen."
"Too many people think vax is a scandal, take two shots and COVID’s handled," he raps.
Kyle has been very vocal about vaccinations, telling listeners he wrote the song because "the only way an Australian will respond to anything is with a good jingle", confirming he wasn't paid by the government to make it.
