Kyle Birch, West End Stage Actor, Dead at 26
Kyle Birch, a London, England-based stage actor who starred in several West End performances throughout his career, has died. He was 26.
Birch died on Monday, Dec. 2, according to a statement that his talent representative, Russell Smith, shared in a post on X, formerly Twitter. Smith did not identify a cause of death in the Wednesday, Dec. 4, statement about his “dear friend” and client.

“Kyle was a truly remarkable talent, with vocal abilities that could move audiences to tears,” Smith’s statement said in part. "His voice wasn’t just beautiful–it was soulful, powerful, and deeply resonant, capable of conveying emotions that stayed with you long after the final note. But beyond his artistry, Kyle was the most tender and lovely man I could ever hope to work with, a gentle and kind-hearted soul whose warmth made every interaction special. I adored him.”
Birch starred in several shows in recent years, including A Strange Loop, The Color Purple, Once On This Island and I’m Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire, according to TheaterMania. Smith identified Birch’s role in A Strange Loop as the performance in which his “star shone brightest.”

A GoFundMe page was set up in support of Birch’s family. The money raised will go “towards the funding and costs of his funeral to make sure he has the send off he deserves,” according to the fundraiser’s description. The page surpassed its £10K goal less than 10 hours after it launched.
