It’s no secret that Kristen Stewart can pull off any look — pants need not be required. This year alone, the Twilight alum and Chanel ambassador has been spotted out and about in a series of headline-grabbing outfits. Instead of pants, Stewart has relied on some unconventional bottoms, from cable knit underwear to a cheeky high-rise bodysuit.
Now, Stewart has once again dipped back into her pantsless era. Attending a weekend Q&A screening for her 2021 Princess Diana drama, Spencer, the actor met up with director Pablo Larraín in a gray cashmere set from Magda Butrym.
While her street style typically leans punk rock, Stewart embraced the so-called “clean girl aesthetic” in a plush knit cardigan, which she wore unbuttoned over a crisp white T-shirt. But, the real kicker of the outfit didn’t start until you got below her waist. Bracing the cold, she strutted down the sidewalk in nothing but some transparent black tights and a pair of cashmere micro shorts, which featured delicate white eyelet trim at the edges.
She kept the preppy theme going with her footwear, opting for white socks paired with towering platform-heeled sandals in a slick glossy black hue. In keeping with quiet luxury, she kept her accessories to a minimum, brandishing only a gold chain necklace, some white shades, and a quilted black Chanel box bag.
Stewart is far from the only celebrity to embrace the pantsless revolution these days. Other celebrities have also joined the fold, including the likes of Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Dua Lipa, and Hailey Bieber.
