If you're a hot weather lover, good news: Kmart has another perfect product for you, to go along with your portable fan and ice-maker. This product, though, has versatility for the whole family, and will no doubt make a difference to any long Christmas Day lunch.

Kmart shoppers are labelling the $45 Frozen Drink Maker the buy of the summer, and it'll no doubt add some extra cheer to your weekend brunch, house parties, Xmas lunch, or mid-arvo treat by the pool if you're lucky.

The nifty kitchen contraption whips up a variety of treats from frozen slushies perfect for the kids, to ice-cold margaritas perfect for the adults dealing with the kids, and it's been compared to a high-end Ninja product valued at $400.

While Nina's Creami Deluxe can also pump out ice cream, gelato and frozen drinks, for those of us on a budget, the Kmart Frozen Drink Maker is still a perfect versatile buy for your summer day soirée.

Kmart shoppers are loving the Frozen Drink Maker that usually hits shelves most summers.

"I've had it for a few years and it's great!" one person commented in a Facebook group after someone asked if it was worth purchasing, before throwing out a genius suggestion. "We put Zooper Doopers in it and crush them. Awesome slushies, and quick and easy."

"Yes, I have one. Essentially you put ice cubess to the top and it either makes shaved ice or chunky ice," another said. "I use it for frozen passionfruit margaritas. I put the frozen passion fruit pulp in it with ice and it makes it into a slushy."

IDK about you, but I'm feeling pretty influenced. Plus, if alcohol isn't your style, other shoppers said they've used the product for milkshakes and protein shakes.

"This is such a good investment," another stated. "I don't have aircon and use it when I need to cool down."

"We got ours last summer and have only ever made frozen Cokes," someone else said. "Definitely getting it out of storage to make frozen margaritas!"
