Kmart shopper's video of bizarre scene in store goes viral: ‘Someone’s getting fired'
Has Barbie been doing the ordering at Kmart?
A viral TikTok video has everyone talking, revealing a bewildering scene inside a bustling Melbourne Kmart store. The clip shows a staggering array of bright pink suitcases lining the store's aisles, a spectacle that has left viewers scratching their heads in disbelief.
The footage, which is playfully set to the tune Barbie Girl, shows row upon row of the $89 travel buy filling multiple areas of the sprawling three-story Kmart.
Amidst the sea of pink, the shopper poses the question, "Who ordered all these suitcases?" before playfully insinuating someone at Kmart HQ might be finding themselves in hot water.
"Someone at Kmart is getting fired," the user captioned the video.

The footage goes on to give an extensive look at the seemingly never-ending stock of identical pink suitcases within the Melbourne store, prompting a series of hilarious reactions from TikTok.
“Pink suitcases for everyone,” said one person, with another chiming in to play Oprah, "You get a pink suitcase, you get a pink suitcase, you get a pink suitcase, EVERYONE GETS A PINK SUITCASE!"
Amid the hilarity, one TikTok user exclaimed, “It just keeps going, OMG,” before another person pointed out, "that’s more suitcases than employees at this point."
Some viewers couldn't resist envisioning the unforeseen consequences of the abundance of pink suitcases.
"Next thing the airport carousel will have 20 of these, and everyone will be accidentally claiming the wrong one," one person laughed.
Numerous Kmart fans speculated that this phenomenon might have been a result of a colossal error in inventory management. "Ordered 300 instead of 30," one user suggested, while another person proposed that, "someone pushed the '0' a few too many times!"
Light-hearted conspiracy theories also emerged, as another TikTok commentator wrote, "Now I know why my Kmart didn't have any in stock, they’re all in this store!"
And considering the current Barbie phenomenon, another person fittingly suggested, "LOL, SOMEONE GOT TOO EXCITED FOR BARBIE!"
