Kmart shoppers reveal major issue with 'cute' pet item: 'No consistency'

By now, we all know that Kmart is the one-stop shop for all your Christmas items, with the budget retailer basically being a festive wonderland for everything you need to distract your family from arguing over Christmas lunch. From light-up decorations to the super cute gingerbread waffle maker and Christmas pyjamas, #Slaymart truly has it all.

Now, there's another popular item the store is stocking for the holiday season to make your whole family look even more adorable: a range of pet costume capes, from Christmas trees to a Santa hoodie. While there's no denying the costumes will make your pooch look extra cute, some Kmart customers have pointed out that something is not quite right with the festive attire.

Kmart shoppers took to a popular Facebook group to review the pet outfits, warning others that the sizes ran quite small.

"I can confirm Kmart don’t know L-XL dogs hehe," one person posted, uploading a very adorable pic of their dog looking a little uncovered from behind.

"None of the XL fit our lab," another person said. "They absolutely don't know! I have bought a few items in XXL and there is no consistency at all, one fits, two don't, the next one does, then another doesn't," another person complained.

"Can also confirm they don’t know XL. I would say my pooch is L compared to some bigger breeds," another chimed in. "Yep, according to their sizing, my dog is meant to have a large jacket, but she fits the 2xl one," someone else verified.

"Agree, lol, I had the same issue with my German shepherd. Also size small is for fat little dogs! I have 3 chihuahuas and the outfits hang down to their knees," another person shared.

"Same with my girl. They never fit. Small is like a tank top and medium is way too big. So I cut the back legs off and sew it," someone else said.

"Lol..this is still so cute," someone replied to all the pics, and look, we wholeheartedly agree.
