Kmart shoppers left horrified by kids summer clothing item: 'Disgusting'
Mothers have taken to a Facebook group to complain about a popular item of clothing, saying they will not purchase for their kids.
Kmart shoppers have slammed a kids' clothing item, calling the difference between the boys' and girls' clothing range 'disgusting'. One Kmart shopper uploaded a series of photos in a Facebook group, showing off various styles of denim shorts ranging in price from $12-$15, but complaining that they were way too short for her daughter.
"Call me old fashioned, but I tend to like my daughter's shorts to be longer than her underwear," the mother said.
Other Kmart shoppers jumped into the comments section, with different shopping recommendations and with similar complaints, saying they had noticed a stark difference in the girls' shorts compared to the shorts for boys.
Kmart shoppers outraged over size of girls' shorts: 'Ridiculous'
While some shoppers said they'd boycott buying the clothes from Kmart, others suggested the boys' section provided a better selection for shorts, while others said they'd recommend shopping at other stores such as Best & Less or Target due to their better range.
"They are ridiculously short this year. No Kmart denim shorts for my 6 year-old," one person said.
"Yep ridiculous, and then compare them to the length of boys' shorts," another person pointed out with someone else commenting, "the difference is disgusting."

A few Kmart shoppers though pointed out that while the shorts looked tiny on the racks, they didn't look as short when they were on.
"They actually don’t look as short when they are on lol," one person commented. "They will look longer on short legs. It’s not the same as on adults with long legs," another agreed.
