A Kmart shopper has shared an ingenious solution to one of the most tedious cleaning jobs, providing consumers with a hack they never knew they needed. The shopper said she had been struggling to find a way to clean her oven racks or find a container big enough to soak them in, and that she wasn't a fan of soaking them in the bath, but then she stumbled across the perfect solution using a $12 Kmart item.

"I don't know why I haven't thought of this before! For the life of me I could not find a container big enough to soak my oven racks, and I'm not a fan of using the bath. I've had the Kmart underbed storage tubs for years, and they are literally the perfect size," she wrote in a Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Facebook group. "Added bonus, they're on wheels so you can just roll it over to the sink to empty the water."

"Thank you so much. Just about to clean the oven and I hate doing the racks," one person commented. "I do something similar and add ammonia to the hot water," another suggested. "Makes the job easy."
