Kmart mum's DIY Christmas fireplace wows fans: 'Stealing this!'
Trying to convince children that Santa Claus will still be able to deliver Christmas presents even if you don't have a fireplace could soon be a thing of the past thanks to one very inventive Kmart lover and mum.
Taking to the Kmart Hacks & Decor Facebook group, a mum shared snaps of her new 'fireplace' that she created on a budget for her kids.
Using a number of boxes to create the fireplace shape, she then used brick wrapping paper from Kmart to cover them.
She wrote, "Christmas decorations ready in our home Christmas wonderland."

"Ps Brick wrapping is from Kmart current stock I have used only 1 pack and had some leftover."
The wall wrap is just $7 and is 6m long with one reviewer writing, "Exactly what we needed to create our fire place."
Facebook users were stunned by the idea with many saying they would be "stealing" it.
One user said, "Oh my lord this is such a great idea!!! Definitely going to steal this idea. Thanks!!"
"Love this awesome idea," another said, while someone else said, "How clever looks amazing."
Another user wrote, "Ooooh I love it! I’m English and was only thinking a few days ago how much I missed the fireplace at Christmas!!! Thanks I’m sooo doing this!"
One excited fan added, "THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST CHRISTMAS HACK EVER!!! Love it!!"
Others shared their own versions with some mums even revealing they'd spent hours on their own because they had to colour in bricks individually.
No doubt this hack will save many parents a lot of time and effort this Christmas!
